Coco and Nick perform a cute little salon trim. Coco is a Pom x Poodle and has an interesting coat - we actually weren’t sure whether to pop this tutorial under straight or curly coats! It’s fluffy. But straight. And thinning. Making the most of a dog’s unique features, in this case, the ears, really lets the personality of the pup shine through!

PART 1 Clipping the body with an orange comb, how to scoop into the tops of the legs to prep for scissoring

PART 2 The head and face - start with the clipper work for eficiency. Reversing a light blue comb over the head, scissoring the visor and face, finessing the ears with a light wave of the thinning shears

PART 3 Detailed paw and pad work, scissoring perfect little round feet. Scissoring the front legs and feet and blending into the shorter body

PART 4 Scissoring the back legs and feet, finessing the rear to match the scissored legs
