ABOUT PRUE
Prue Hammond is a second-generation International Master Groomer with over 38 years of experience in the grooming industry.
She has been competing since 2006, achieving multiple first-place and Best in Show wins across Asian Fusion, Creative Grooming, Poodle, Salon Freestyle, and Model Dog categories. She has also judged grooming competitions in recent years.
Prue has trained internationally, including in Malaysia with Valerie Khoo at Pet Icon Grooming Academy, focusing on Asian Fusion. She also competed in online Groomers2Win competitions during COVID, placing first in both Asian Fusion and Poodle Scissor classes.
She appeared on Season 1 of Pooch Perfect alongside her daughter.
Prue owned and operated a grooming salon for 17 years before recently selling to focus on education. She now runs Styled With Prue Grooming School-Studio, where she delivers workshops, hands-on seminars, one-on-one training, and salon-based education, with plans to offer Cert III and additional courses.
