ABOUT SUE
Sue Wright is a diploma-certified and award-winning pet stylist, IJA judge, and former Australian Model Dog Team Leader. Originally from the UK, she is now based in Woodford, Queensland.
She competed at a national level and has received multiple awards for her grooming. Her main area of focus is Asian-influenced pet styling.
Sue’s work has been published internationally in books and magazines including The Complete Guide to Asian Styling, Modern Styles Around the World, Toilettage Magazine, and the Japanese publication Trim.
Sue has now retired from grooming and is based in Woodford, Queensland.
She has taught, presented, and hosted seminars for professional groomers, and created the Asian Fusion Grooming Academy.
She has travelled internationally, including to Chengdu, China in 2020 to further her study of Asian styling and teddy bear trims.
Sue was also a contestant on Season 1 of Pooch Perfect, hosted by Rebel Wilson.
