The Companion Animal Grooming Institute of Australia is an industry-leading groomer training organisation that launched in Perth, Western Australia, in 2023. Offering comprehensive, industry best-practise grooming education to the next generation of Australian groomers, CAGIA was founded on a passion for knowledge in grooming, as well as a commitment to helping raise the standard of grooming and companion animal care in Australia. Courses Offered
Foundations of Dog Grooming is a 5 week intensive, face-to-face course operating in Perth, Western Australia, from 9am till 2.45pm Saturday and Sunday, and 4pm till 8.15pm Tuesday and Wednesday, during course dates.
Following on from Foundations of Dog Grooming, students will be introduced to patterned breeds, exploring how each pure breed has its own unique cut and finish to accentuate its features, as well as how to provide optimal health and maintenance requirements for each breed.
