ABOUT ARROW
Arrow graduated from the Dog Grooming School of Victoria in Melbourne in 1997 and became a certified dog trainer through ADT in the same year.
She has worked across a wide range of grooming environments, including commercial salons, veterinary clinics, boarding kennels, grooming schools, breeding programs, show exhibitors, home-based grooming businesses, and with DIY pet owners. She opened her own commercial grooming salon at the age of 22.
Throughout her career, Arrow has trained groomers at all levels, worked as a grooming instructor, presented demonstrations and workshops around Australia, completed two sold-out national tours, and created educational content for groomers online.
Alongside her grooming work, she has remained actively involved in the rescue and rehabilitation of domestic animals and Australian wildlife.
Arrow has also worked as a groomer and handler in film and advertising and is a certified Opawz Creative Grooming Master. She is widely known online as The Poodle DIY Coach, where she helps owners develop practical grooming and handling skills at home.
Her approach to education focuses on helping groomers and owners build confidence through practical skills, clear communication, and a strong understanding of the dogs in their care.
